Christmas on the northern Arctic Circle means forests covered deeply in snow and a magic world of hobgoblins and fairies.
It also means perfect peace and quiet with five hours of daylight and a sky with unbelievable colours at daytime and the breathtaking Arctic Light at nighttime.

Here Father Christmas can be without any worries about huge piles of presents or hectique. In Solberget he teaches you how to handle his animals. Glide through the glittering snowy nature when sitting on a reindeer sled.

A visit to the world famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi can also be arranged, as well as a visit to the Sami museum in Jokkmokk (not included in price).

This tour is for all who want to escape the hectic christmas atmosphere at home and want to spend some quiet and peaceful days in Lapland instead. For this reason you will find a lot of time for individual pleasure. Special activities can be booked in addition to the programme. Skis will be provided, so that you can discover the surroundings of Solberget. You might also spend a night in the little hut on the nearby Solberget.

The first price is an adult price. The second price is a child price. The child price is for children up to 15 years of age and for immediate family only. All other accompanied children pay 75% of the adult price.

Return train tickets from Stockholm by sleeper are about 20-200€ per person. We are happy booking the tickets for you.

Please note:

The tour starts at the given day at 2pm and ends at the final day at 3pm. The rooms can be used from 2pm the first day until 1pm on the final day. For organisational reasons we have to ask you to use the guest-house kitchen if you come earlier on the first day or leave later on the final day. On the first day you will get the necessary guided tour around the village.

• Pick-up at the train-station in Nattavaara

• Guided tour of the village ( Day 1 at 2pm)
• Reindeer feeding
• Sauna-usage
• Full board with local and typical specialities (partially organic food)
• Accommodation in unique rooms (usually shared rooms, doubles are additionally 8€ per person and night. We believe that you will appreciate sharing a room and thus all that is involved with keeping the fire running)
• 3 guided ski tours (each 3 h)
• Sledge-riding with reindeer about 1 h
• If possible visit of a reindeer divide (costs for the petrol apply)

Further things you may do:

· Visiting the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi: from 50€/person for car rental (190 km one-way) plus 13€/person admission fee)
· Visiting Jokkmokk with the Sami-museum: from 25€/person (100 km one-way) plus 6€/person admission fee).
o You may book these additional tours when you are here which includes hiring one of our cars and driving yourself. Please remember to bring a drivers licence.
· Dog-sledging: from 120€/person for 3 h. Please book in advance.
· Massage from 19€

Coming earlier is 75€/night and person as this means considerably more effort for us).
